This is a recording of the webinar presented: July 27, 2017

Post-Adoption Service in Tennessee Available to Intercountry and Private Domestic Adoptive Families

Description:  The National Quality Improvement Center for Adoption and Guardianship Support and Preservation (QIC-AG) is hosting a webinar that will provide an overview of NMT. NMT is being offered in Tennessee to families with adopted children who have been referred to Tennessee’s Adoption Support and Preservation Program in the Shelby, East, Northeast, Tennessee Valley, Smoky Mountain, and Upper Cumberland regions. NMT is available to children who have been adopted through the intercountry or private domestic process. NMT is a developmentally informed, biologically respectful approach to working with at risk children that helps organize a child’s history and current functioning. The NMT approach helps families and professionals apply interventions that appropriately align with a child’s needs and strengths.
