Program/Intervention Description

HOMEBUILDERS is an intensive family preservation services program designed to improve family functioning and children's behavior and to prevent out-of-home placement of children into foster or group care, psychiatric hospitals, or correctional facilities.

Parent/Adult, 0-5, 6-12, 13-17


Program Goals/Outcomes

Reduced placement rates or delayed placement of children with the same risk level but who received traditional child welfare services. Treatment effects increased as risk effects increased, effective in reducing out-of-home placements
