Program/Intervention Description

The Oregon Post Adoption Resource Center (ORPARC) is a nonprofit program contracted with Oregon DHS. ORPARC offers services at no cost to: Oregon DHS Adoptive families, Oregon Assisted Guardianship families, Oregon Families who have adopted through any state's child welfare system.

Parent/Adult, 0-5, 6-12, 13-17, >17


Program Goals/Outcomes

Enhance child and family functioning, Reduce incidents of crisis and unnecessary out of home placements, Provide a support network responsive to varying needs of families, Increase the professional capacity of the state’s mental health providers to serve families with children other than those born to them, especially children with special needs placed by public child welfare agencies.
