Program/Intervention Description
Through fun, experiential learning, parents gain an understanding of resilience and protective factors, and explore how these concepts can be applied to their own family, in practical and personal ways. Parents enhance their abilities to listen to their children, validate their feelings, involve them in meaningful ways at home, and provide them with clear norms. The program offers parents ways to promote their children's social-emotional competence, creativity, self-control, healthy decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
