Program/Intervention Description
Clinical and supportive services designed to support adoptive or guardianship families. 24/7 availability for support and I/R. Provide services from brief prevention to intensive. Counseling, family system approach. Offer traditional and nontraditional respite and a myriad of support groups and social opportunities for families and children, together and alone. Advocacy on behalf of families including facilitating service delivery across multiple providers. Adoption competency training and professional development for community providers and DCF. Every family that contacts program receives the Adoption Guide that details prevention services available through the program. A dynamic program offering a many family centered services that support parents and children.
