Program/Intervention Description
What: Helpline. Master's level Clinical Specialists assess adoptive families impending/current crisis and referrals families to adoption competent therapeutic services resources, or practitoners across the state specific to clients needs. How: Provides educational and training informatin relative to clients needs. Provides follow-up advocacy services. Contractually required to respond within 24 hours. Available 8:30-4:30 CST. May be able to provide financial assistance to access adoption-competent services. Program services are free and available to any Minnesota family who adopted through state or tribal guardianship; internationally; or through private domestic infant adoption.
